All other sessions have unreserved seating. Please note, we are cash only.
Conditions of Entry
- All patrons are welcome to attend Lake Cinema.
- Lake Cinema is wheelchair accessible from Sixth Street – please phone ahead to organise.
- If you are unwell, please stay at home and attend once you are feeling better.
- Social distancing from other individuals/groups is recommended.
- Hand sanitiser is available for patrons and staff.
- We will continue to conduct extensive cleaning of the foyer and auditorium.

- Admission to Zootopia 2, Grand Prix Of Europe, The Pout Pout Fish and Spongebob Movie is $10.00 for each movie All other movies are $12.00 for each movie.

About Lake Cinema
Lake Cinema opened on Thursday 29th March 1974 with Show Boat and Singin’ in the Rain; a grand double feature from MGM and two of my personal favourite films. The official opening was on Friday 30th March 1974 by Ald Geoff Pasterfield who was Mayor of the City of Lake Macquarie and we screened the Poseidon Adventure. Lake Cinema has undergone many refurbishments over the years and we are continually striving to enhance your movie going experience. The Cinema is available for fundraising activities and if we can help your group please contact us. I am very grateful for the assistance and effort from the dedicated team at the Cinema and the ongoing support of Lake Macquarie City Council. We look forward to welcoming you to Lake Cinema.

Most enquiries can be answered by phone. Phone calls are answered after 5.30pm on Fridays and after 1pm on Saturdays, Sundays and during the school holidays.
For general enquiries out of opening hours, special functions or school bookings, please use the contact form on our website.
Regular bookings for night sessions cannot be made online. To make a booking for a 7:30pm session, please call during the times listed above.
